This chapter meets in conjunction with the Southern California LERA Chapter (SoCalLERA), formerly OCLERA (Orange County LERA).
The Chapter affords an opportunity for all those in the greater San Diego area who are active or interested in labor-management relations, either in the private or public sector, to meet periodically and to consider matters of common professional interest in a non-adversary setting.
The membership includes representatives of companies and unions; government representatives; arbitrators and other neutrals; attorneys and consultants; and teachers and students in various disciplines.
Annual dues are $55 regular, $25 students, $125 organizations.
The chapter sponsors bi-monthly dinner meetings on vital labor and employment relations issues. The chapter also sponsors an annual one-day labor and employment law conference, long considered the “Best in the West,” in conjunction with the National Labor Relations Board and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.
